7+1 — Behind the Record

7+1 was never planned as a project. It started as voice notes recorded on the last train, over drill loops that felt closer to a heartbeat than a beat.

Seven songs carry the pressure. The eighth carries what's left after it. That's the whole record — a debt and its receipt.

Everything was written in two languages because that's how the thoughts arrive: English for the distance, German for the weight.
