BIOGRAPHY
ABOUT

Bank Oliday is London-born, Berlin-based, with Persian diaspora roots. His work sits at the intersection of German precision, British grit and Persian soul — a cinematic sound built between three cities and three languages: German (DE), English (EN) and Persian / Farsi (FA).
His releases blend multilingual songwriting with cinematic production, layering atmospheric textures over heavyweight 808s and minor-key melodies. The result is a recognizable sonic signature: dark, widescreen, intentional — UK Drill pressure, Latin Trap swagger, melodic rap bones.
Beyond music, Bank Oliday operates as a creative director — overseeing visual identity, photography, and short-form content across the project. The work moves as a complete world rather than isolated tracks.
Independent across the board, Bank Oliday releases through his own infrastructure, retaining full ownership of master recordings, publishing, and brand. The mission is simple: build a global, multilingual artist brand from the ground up — written in DE, EN and FA, without translation.
Most of the music is written and recorded in a dark bedroom studio on standard AirPods, with three kids asleep in the next room. No label, no big console, no co-writers — just patience between bedtime and sunrise, and a refusal to wait for permission.
